Here's the thing. Even when the Powers that Be give you a new lease on life, there are certain things you don't forget. You may not have visions or a champion to run to anymore, but you still know the signs of a vampire nest in town. And the hero in you can't help but go out and have a look.
After a quick trip to the coroners office to make sure that the body in question wouldn't be rising again (decapitation. gross), she made her way to the local cemetery, stake in hand and waiting for the vampires to make an appearance. God, she hasn't done this since high school.
... let's hope she's not rusty.]
